Turbobulls

Combined overview

Your investments and your spending, in one number

Most trackers show you a portfolio. A portfolio is not your financial position. Turbobulls puts holdings across every broker next to cash, salary, spending and debt, and reports the one figure that includes all of it, moving over time.

What goes into the number

Four things, and the last one is the one most tools leave out.

Every holding, every broker

Stocks, ETFs, crypto, bonds and deposits, held anywhere. Positions in the same company at two brokers roll into one holding rather than sitting as two half-truths.

Cash and current accounts

Bank accounts, savings and the cash sitting idle inside a brokerage, which is the part most trackers quietly forget.

Salary and income

What comes in, next to what it buys. Dividends and interest are counted as income rather than disappearing into the return figure.

Debt, honestly

Loan and mortgage accounts are subtracted, because a net worth that ignores what you owe is not a net worth.

Tracking investments across multiple brokerages

Holding the same company at two brokers is the point at which spreadsheets start lying. The position is split, the cost basis is split, and the return figure at each broker is right about its own half and wrong about your actual holding.

Turbobulls consolidates by asset. Buy Apple at one broker and again at another and you have one holding with one cost basis, one weight in your portfolio and one return. The per-broker breakdown is still there when you want to see where something sits, but it is a view rather than the structure.

Import adapters cover the common ones, including Interactive Brokers, XTB, TradeVille, ING and Raiffeisen, with a generic CSV mapper for the rest. Imports preview before they commit and mark duplicates, so re-importing an overlapping statement does not double your holdings.

A figure, and the shape it made getting there

Net worth is computed for each date rather than as a snapshot, which means it can be drawn as a line and asked questions. The one worth asking is how far it fell along the way.

Maximum drawdown measures the largest drop from a previous peak to a later low, across your whole position rather than one holding. A year that finished up 10% after falling 40% is a different year from one that climbed steadily, and only the drawdown tells you which you lived through. Alongside it sit money-weighted and time-weighted return, MOIC, volatility and the Sharpe ratio.

All of it, and still unreadable to us

Putting your investments, salary, spending and debts in one place makes a more complete picture of you than any single one of them. That is the reason it is worth doing, and the reason it should not be readable by the company hosting it. Turbobulls encrypts on your device before anything is sent, so the servers hold ciphertext. There are no bank logins and no aggregator in the path, because there is nothing for one to connect to.

Common questions

How do I track investments across multiple brokerages?

Add each broker once, then bring positions in by file: Turbobulls has import adapters for Interactive Brokers, XTB and TradeVille, plus a generic CSV mapper for anything not on the list. From then on the same holding at two brokers is one line in your portfolio, with the per-broker split still available when you want it. There is no bank or broker login involved at any point.

Why not just connect my accounts automatically?

Because of what that would require. Turbobulls encrypts your data on your device before it reaches the server, so the server holds ciphertext. An automatic sync service has to hold working credentials and read the positions it fetches, which means giving a server the ability to read your finances. We took the other side of that trade, and file import is the cost of it. It is a real cost and worth weighing.

How is net worth calculated?

Everything you hold, minus what you owe, converted into one currency at the rate for each date rather than today's rate. Holdings are valued at market prices, cash at balance, and loan or mortgage accounts are subtracted. Because it is computed per date rather than as a snapshot, the line shows how it actually moved rather than only where it landed.

Does it handle more than one currency?

Yes, and this is where a single figure usually breaks. Turbobulls supports 30+ currencies and applies the exchange rate from each transaction date, not the rate today. It also separates how much of a gain came from the asset and how much came from the currency moving, so a good year for the dollar does not get mistaken for good stock picking.

Can I see how far a drop actually went?

Yes. Maximum drawdown measures the largest fall from a previous peak to a later low, across your whole net worth rather than a single holding. It is the number that tells you what you had to sit through, which an annual return hides entirely. It sits with the other advanced metrics on Investing Pro or Turbo Pro.

What does the free plan include?

One workspace, 3 accounts, 10 holdings, 2 brokers, 50 investing transactions and 120 spending entries, with no time limit and no card. The combined overview itself is not paywalled. End-to-end encryption and full export are on every plan, free included. Above it you pay for the side you actually use: unlimited accounts, spending entries and categories on Spending Pro or Turbo Pro, unlimited holdings, brokers and trades on Investing Pro or Turbo Pro. Paying for one side never takes the other away - it stays exactly at free-plan depth.
