Answers to common questions.
Is my financial data actually private?
Yes. Holdings and transactions are encrypted on your device with AES-256 before they ever leave. Our servers only see ciphertext - even we cannot read them. We can’t be subpoenaed into decrypting data we physically cannot decrypt, and we have no anonymised dataset to sell to brokers or advertisers.
How do I get my data in?
Two ways: CSV import from any broker, or manual entry. We deliberately do not link to your bank or brokerage account - automatic broker sync requires the server to read your trades, which is not compatible with end-to-end encryption.
Which brokers, assets and currencies are supported?
Stocks, ETFs and funds across global markets, plus crypto, bonds, cash deposits and custom assets (real estate, collectibles, private equity). Around 50 currencies, with real-time FX and historical rates on the transaction date.
What metrics do you report?
Time-weighted return (TWR) and money-weighted return (MWR) side-by-side, alongside ROI, with dividends and fees folded into total return. Advanced analytics runs to twelve metrics: the free plan keeps four of them - wealth velocity, CAGR, time-weighted return and portfolio share of net worth. Investing Pro or Turbo Pro opens the other eight, including Sharpe ratio, max drawdown and return volatility, and adds the split of a return into capital versus currency, so you can see exactly where the move came from.
Does it handle corporate actions and dividends?
Splits and reverse splits are applied automatically across global markets, reconciled on every sync. Dividend payments are matched to your holdings automatically and FX-converted to your base currency on the payment date.
